Dave is adaptable and happy to work with standard venue or studio setups. These notes are preferences only, included so producers can move quickly.

Quick default: Standard house connection is perfect. Dave can bring USB-C to HDMI if needed. If recording or hybrid, clean room audio is helpful.

Small room, 1-30

Screen/TV or projector if slides are needed
Table or lectern space with power nearby
Mic usually not required
If hybrid/recorded, room mic or standard conference audio helps
Visible timer helpful if available

Medium room, 30-200

One wireless mic, handheld or lav
16:9 screen and standard house input
Presenter clicker
Laptop audio into PA if video/audio is used
2-3 minute check for levels and clicker

Podcast / voice-over

In-person: standard podcast mic and headphones are perfect
Remote: stable connection and headphones
Quiet room with minimal background noise
Separate tracks ideal if multitrack recording is available
Professional remote mic setup available if needed

TV / broadcast

Whatever the studio provides for mic is fine
Quick briefing on format, timing, and camera direction
Cueing on where to look and how answers should be paced
Standard on-camera look: suit jacket and collared shirt, no tie, solid dark tones
Remote broadcast-ready setup available if useful
